Chris Caissie is the manager to the newly opened Edmonton location. Chris has been in the fitness equipment retail industry for about 3 years. Chris believes in providing his customers with the most professional care, service, knowledge and enthusiasm to get them started on their own fitness plan. This dedication to quality of service has earned him quick advancement throughout his career in the fitness industry. Chris came to the fitness industry with a background in business and financial planning. Chris Caissie has adopted a philosophy to his life based on a simple quote. This quote can be used in every facet of work, life, and leisure, by customers, friends, family, and co-workers. "A man, as a general rule, owes very little to what he is born with. Outside of "the office", Chris enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through hockey, weight lifting, boxing, golf and skiing. He originated out of Maple Ridge, BC, however migrated to Edmonton about 4 years ago to take advantage of Alberta's booming economy... and no PST!

Is Cancer a Concern?

Recently a close relative of mine was diagnosed with cancer. Less then 1 month from that date, he underwent a 22 hour long operation, nearly costing him his life. Not only this massive operation for him to overcome, but after healing he will have to go through radiation therapy, multiple checkups, medications, and just hope it doesn’t come back. Why do I bring this up? Because prior to this incident, I had never really dealt with such issues closely. At 27 years old, “It can’t happen to me” is the mantra. I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who believes these major illnesses are simply confined solely to a very defined risk group.
