Day 7 “LOWER BODY” 10 Minutes Trainer – almost missed it because of Borack. read more

Borack Obama gets inaugurated and I almost miss my first workout because I’m watching the inauguration on TV.

“It’s a good thing the workout is only 10 Minutes because I was able to watch Borack, throw in the DVD, whip off a 14minute session, jump in the shower, shoot off to work and only be 10 minutes late.”

Yeah, I may have been late but millions of people said screw it and didn’t even go to work today.  Did you see how many people were in Washington to see history being set?  Wow.  If you live in Washington and you had an appointment to get your treadmill fixed, chances are the tech didn’t show.

Regardless of what I do for work, I was still able to get my workout in.  I love these 10 minute sessions.

There were some challenging moves, but all in all I am getting back into fairly good shape.  The workouts become easier and easier.  My Achilles tendon is bothering me.  Need to stretch a little more.  I’m going to attempt to play full court ball tonight with the means league.  See if I can get back to running with the big boys.

Here’s the workout

LOWER BODY -

10 MOVES / 10 MINUTES – You can still fit it in even if you are running late for work.

10:00 – 9:00     3 part Squats

9:00 – 8:00       Alternating Lunges

8:00 – 7:00       Front Knee + Front Kick

7:00 – 6:00       in & Out Hop Squats (wow feel the burn baby!)

6:00 – 5:00       Pendulum (this is such a good move for balance)

5:00 – 4:00       3 way Jogging squats

4:00 – 3:00       Side Lunge + Side Kick (my hips hurt)

3:00 – 2:00       Tip Toe squats

2:00 – 1:00       Band Hip Raises (this is a good move – focus on the tension)

2:00 - 0:00       Cool-down (recommended)

That’s it, that’s all
