My Workout Log – Week of April 6th, 2008

My whole body ached from last weeks 300 workout.  If you haven’t tried it yet, at least take a look at it.  I listed all the exercises and reps in my blog entry last week.  I’m not making excuses here.  I was forced to take it easy this week because my muscle recovery took longer than usual after that intense first round of the 300 Spartan Workout.  Here’s this weeks journal.

Monday:  17 minutes light jog followed by a 20 minutes Sprint 8.  (I did the Sprint 8 workout on a Vision 9600 treadmill at level 14)

Tuesday:  Chest, Arms, and Abs

Friday:  “round 2″ of the 300 workout.  I was feeling weaker this time around, but I was able to better my time by 5 minutes finishing all 6 exercises and 300 reps in 30 minutes as opposed to last weeks 35 minute time.

I have a confession to make.  On Fridays workout, I did assisted chin ups on the Hoist V6, taking away 20lbs of my body weight for that exercise.  – I was going to put this in small print.
