Friday – 300 workout…see below.
I did the 300 workout for first time this week. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s the program that the actors of the movie 300 were taken through in preparation for their roles in the Spartan warrior flick.
The “300 Spartan Workout” is as follows:
- 25 x Pull-up
- 50 x Dead lift @ 135lbs
- 50 x Push-up
- 50 x 24″ Box Jump
- 50 x Floor Wiper @ 135lbs
- 50 x KB Clean and Press @ 36lbs / side
- 25 X Pull-up
- Grand tally, “300 reps total”
I have a new respect for these guys. Rumor has it, by the end of their training, the actors were able to complete this workout in 18 minutes. I’ve got a lot of work to do. My first time through was 35 minutes.
