Combination Training – Integrated Muscle Conditioning (pt.1)

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

It can be very hard to fit all the essential pieces of the fitness puzzle into our time-crunched schedules. Too often we neglect certain fitness elements, and focus on only what we enjoy or have time for. There is very little we can effectively trim from a balanced workout without sacrificing results. So how can we fit proper warm-ups, adequate cardio workouts, challenging strength training routines, core/postural exercises, and much-needed stretching, all in the shortest amount of time? Combination training can help bring it all together.

168 hours a in a week, don’t tell me you can’t find 2 or 3 for you?

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Do this for 6 days and you’ve fit in more exercise than the average Canadian gets in a month. But what does it take to make this shift?

Whatever you do, don’t be a “johnny half rep”

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

Anyone who has been to a gym has seen it, you know what I mean, the guy who loads up whatever machine and moves it about 2 inches, thinking he is getting a workout. Saturday, April 26th, 2008

The body needs a minimum amount of vitamins and minerals each day to remain healthy and function properly. A balanced diet normally supplies sufficient vitamins. However, serious disorders can still develop if the diet does not meet your body’s needs. Physical distress is usually a good indication that your body may be suffering from vitamin [...]
